How does our mind work? Can we control our mind?

Mind is formed from the body, memory, and intelligence. The body contains more memory than the mind can recall, for example, the physical genetics you inherit in your looks. Your brain cannot recall or know your genetics of what is expressed in your physique as defined in "Yoga".

Mind plays a role of thinking. We observe our thoughts and react to it, also called as intellect or consciousness. There are many thoughts which arise in our mind which lead us in the wrong direction because we are not aware of what is real and unreal. For example we also say "there is something going on in my mind". Which means that I am thinking, it only exists in my mind whether it's right or wrong, true or false. I'm not aware of it.

Similarly, in our life in real sense we always face these challenges like ' I think he/she is cheating me' or 'Nobody likes me'. We are just making such statements which we ourselves are not sure whether that person is really cheating me or not.Our mind is based on past event which is just a memory its not related to present. It happens that the mind is ruled by past thoughts and with that past experience we behave according in our present as we are scared that this has happened in our past the repetition goes on. We always mistakes our thoughts with somethings which is not real

Today we see many relationships end because there is no proper clarity in thoughts, lack of trust which ends up in doubts. Something goes wrong with us. We blame other people for that due to our past experience our mind is still in the past. The discrimination of what is real and unreal at that moment is still in doubt. Our one thought can change the situation. We make such statements which can hurt others emotions or we land up taking wrong decisions to which our intention was not there.

This mind leads to kleshas such as ignorance, wrong knowledge, ego, attachment, hatred, fear. This is just a one factor to psychological disorders like anxiety, depression, confusion. There are a lot of things going on in mind to which our mind commands one particular thought which we react to.

We can overcome these toxic and past thoughts with the help of meditation. Meditation takes you closer to spirituality which helps to discriminate between real and unreal which is an important factor in yoga. One should have strong faith in destiny to begin his spiritual journey of self improvement. This spirituality creates a positive aura which can give tranquility of the mind. It helps to replace negative thought into positive. Cultivating feelings of friendliness, compassion etc instead of hatred and jealousy and trying to understand each other, also respecting their point of view.

If you rise above all mental modification then you can control your mind from hindering the past and letting go which can be done through meditation.

Stay blessed, stay happy!!!

How well do we know ourselves??

One of the existential philosopher "Sartre" explains that the basic principle of existentialism is that existence precedes essence. ... Existence precedes essence also means that every human being is solely responsible for their actions because we choose who we are.

Humans are born as “nothing” and then become who they are through their choices and actions. We as a human being are born as a blank slate which creates essence through developing ages with the help of unique experience, emotions which are not constant, anxiety and more psychological factors.

Human life has a meaning or a purpose, there is always a reason to which certain things happen in life. If we examine it thoroughly I am self sure we can get the answer for some things which should have not happened in some or the other way.

Some of the problems in our life are caused by our own. Our expectations, clinging towards somethings leads to frustration, angst, depression, anger because we always want others to help us. To always be with us in good and bad times and it's we who makes this a habit in this cycle of habit we are slowly ignoring our true self, what we were and what we turn to become through this process of dependent we lose our identity.

It is indeed very important to know our own self. The purpose to our own self is to make our own lives better without clinging and depending on others. It's we who can make us better day by day by improving ourselves.

How can we improve our self:

Examine oneself and look within what problems you are dealing with. Bad qualities, bad behaviour towards others which can cause harm to others, where you have hurted your near and dear ones

One needs to introspect those qualities and it can be done through meditation. Meditate on those good things which you are aware of that you can do it. Replace your bad qualities with some qualities.

Keep your willpower so strong that once you decide for yourself that "yes" i will not  turn back to see what i have left behind which is gone it means nothing to me.Try to keep moving Forrwards. once you realize that what ever happened was just a passing phase of life and there is more things within me which i can do my best for rest of my life that point of time you will feel the inner peace, the aura is filled with positivity. When you are positive you glow differently from within which spreads happiness, love and peace with people around you.

May you become a better version of yourself..

Keep your spirit high....
