What is karma? Can one create positive karma?

Karma we all have heard this word and have come across it, Many times we use  this word on regular basis. When we are facing troubles, problems or may be some one who hurt us intentionally or unintentionally, we say "let the karma take place". So is it all about karma? Are we not responsible for our own karmas? Yes we are indeed responsible for our very own karma.

Karma which means "actions" or "deeds" itself denotes whatever action you perform it's categorized in to two forms one is good and other is bad. We are free to choose our own karmas as it depends on us not on anybody else. Today we see many people are confused as what exactly karma means.

 What exactly karma is:

Karma is an action perfomed on daily basis good action leads to good life bad action leads to bad state of life as result may vary on your karma. we hear many saying 'whatever you do will be filled accordingly'.

Today we see many people are involved in social working, working towards betterment of society, taking care of poor people and many more. Yes this is what karma looks like but it's not only this there is more to it.

Karma teaches us to be selfless keeping our ego, attitudes, I - ness away. whenever we try to reach out to help others not forgetting there is an almighty already present in this world and we are just serving him by doing our karma. If you do many works for fulfillment and betterment of the society your intentions has to be pure without any attachments of getting any credits in return like name, fame your focus should be on almighty and your work.

We all do some good deeds without our prior knowledge viz. Helping some one in need, some times on road we accidentally meet people who needs help and we go forward to help them forgetting ourselves that who we are, we just want their problems to be solved, we name it as good karma.

Some times we get vibrations, intutions of doing some thing good but we ignore that subtle vibrants and we do what we should have not done, later we regret that i should  have followed my inner gut by the time its too late and moment is passed , this is the trap for us where we fall in karmic cycles. Unintentionally, we hurt others to make their fun or get pleasure from their pain this is where bad deeds happen.

"Each one is great in his own place" as one's character is build on his own thoughts and actions and how they express to others. We are just doing actions to transcend ourselves from ego, attachments and I- ness.

Helping others and doing good to world are fundamental ideas of karma. True karmic person will understand that through all his work he can do only very little good to the world. The little we do today can be wiped off tommorw by some disaster. As the world is in the hands of a power higher than ourselves. We often talk of 'rights' and 'justice' but what guides the conduct of man is selfish motives and other is divine blessings.
                      -Swami Vivekananda

"The old man must die in us".This old man is the selfish ideas that the whole world is made for our enjoyment.

Let's detach our self from worldly pleasures and selfish gains. Work for those in need with out any attachments and motive keeping in mind that there is highest almighty who is keeping record of our karmas. Do right actions and save humanity. Let good karma pay you back.

Note: Helping others and thinking that we are doing good karma's is not actually a karma.we perform our duty for own sake to get into good karma.

In helping the world we help ourselves.

  2. Karma is justice.... It does not reward or punish.... It shows no favoritism because we all have to earn all that we receive.... Karma doesn’t predestine anything. We create our own causes and Karma adjusts the effects with perfect balance...inshort karma is life
