Why me? Does karma play any role in it?

We all have come across a question in our life such as "why me"? "Why does it happens to me only? Why i always fall in this situation"? And many more questions like this isn't?  It is an obvious question which is more fundamental and philosophical.

We are human beings and so problems tend to happen as it is a natural process a cycle of life. Sometimes we see good days and some times bad. We hear many people saying everything is 'maya'. Life is an open challenge, we are so scared to face challenges as we don't want ourself to be doomed, some problems makes us feel so terrible, devastating we don't know how to react as we go on thinking deeper and deeper reflecting on same problems instead of solutions and there is one more new problem infront of us which is loopsided.

If any problem comes our way our very first thought is, if i am in this situtaion it's because of others, we blame others for our own problems, our rationality supersedes, we are not ready to take the blame on us we want some one else to be held responsible for our problems.

We should know its not because of others we come in problem, but it happens accidentally.

Let us see how samkhya-yoga explains the qualities/ gunas of human being.

Human beings are born with  three qualities that is sattva, rajas and tamas. Firstly, sattva which is pure, the intelligent, the supreme, second rajas which is full of energy and attachments with actions, thirdly tamas which is inert, inactive, ignorance and darkness this leads to cover up one's understanding.

Gunas takes place in two pairs. Mostly pair of rajas and tamas takes place when we are in problems. These gunas are predominate over other i.e sattvic guna because of tamas guna we find difficult to over come the problems due to rajas we are attached to the problems and therefore we  find ourself one with the problems, for example, if some one is hurt by me, i feel emotive, oh its because of me that he/she is sad. We should now understand that we are different from these  three qualities we are Just observers to which these qualities/gunas keep on ever changing.

Gunas are responsible for change in behaviour in human beings. Human beings are subject to influence, we loose control over ability to discern truth, essential nature or true self.

These gunas are responsible for our ignorance, bondage and suffering when they are active we remain bound to one thing or another we cannot be completely free from our problems untill they are fully resolved.

"All actions are performed by the gunas of prakriti. Deluded by identification with the ego, a person thinks, " I am the doer."                                           -Bhagvad gita

Which means " Transcnend or go beyond these problmes rather than cultivating them in us. Learn to be wiser and strive to transcend the problems. One who learns to overcome the darkness in life can transcend to sattvic gunas which is end itself in sattva".

When we learn these qualities we understand the reason for problems which makes us wise in decision making, problem solving and remain on right side of life. Knowledge of gunas is also helpful in worldly life.

Problems we face in day to day life:

1) running late to office
2) too much work load and work pressure
3) lack of time to have food
4) break ups
5) financial status
6) mental disturbances due to fights in relationships

Lets try to reflect, learn and rectify our smallest to smallest problems on the basis of our gunas.

Karma plays an important role in life, as it depends on what action we perform in our day to day lives, as good thoughts can lead us to right knowledge. Doing something with positive attitude can give happiness be selfless without expecting anything in return. Being dutiful in nature is better than being aggresive and angry. Most importantly doing something good actions which gives pleasure with non- attachments can lead you to highest stage in life which no problems will affect you. Don't get entangled with your problems.

"Any action is better than no action, it does not matter what you do, it just matters that you do in order  to learn and move forward".

  5. A good topic! Each and everyone has problem, it's on an individual how does one takes it. The thoughts which you have put itself explains a lot. If problems won't there, life wouldn't be simple and we won't like it. Great going#keepwriting#happyreader✌️
